The MET Estro MIPS is a versatile road helmet ready for your longest day on the bike. As comfortable as a top-of-the-line helmet, its design is widely open to maximize ventilation at low speeds. With 26 vents, 17 of which are inlets and 9 are exhaust holes, all of them work in synergy with the internally engineered air channeling system to ensure maximum ventilation. The Estro MIPS is also exceptionally comfortable. The 360° head belt in the MET Safe-T Upsilon retention system ensures that there will be no pressure points on the skull, and its internal shape is welcoming for almost all different shaped heads. The MET Roam MIPS is designed for all-mountain and enduro riding. The back of the head and the temples are especially in need of protection from impact, so we’ve increased the coverage around these key areas, without sacrificing the helmet’s light weight. The injection-molded visor is flexible to adapt to the shell of the helmet in a crash. This unique feature helps to manage extra rotational forces transferred to your neck. There are clips on the visor and a rear edge, which keep goggle straps in place during the ride, achieving ultimate compatibility with your eyewear. For Dissident II, we collaborated with powerhouse athletes, Loïc Bruni and Finn Iles, to design a helmet that would meet the highest demands of downhill mountain bike racing, in terms of confidence, a modern-styled fit, and breathability.With five strategically placed EPS foam inserts, we’re able to tune for higher and lower density foam based on where it is being configured inside the helmet—allowing us to maintain a light weight and still manage energy. The use of a softer foam density allows more energy to be absorbed in an impact, transferring less to the rider. Dissident II also provides added confidence through its Mips Evolve Solution—that helps to redirect rotational movement away from the head.
